The Ocean Cottage Renovation

In the spring of 2025, I partnered with my good friend Ian of Maineland Carpentry & Finish on a kitchen renovation in an elegant cottage along the beautiful coastline of Brunswick, Maine.

The project wasn’t short on surprises during demolition, but as the kitchen began to take shape, the beauty and vision truly came to life. Hancock Lumber provided the beautiful cabinets and countertops for this build, which paired nicely with the original beams that had been hidden away in the attic for nearly a century.

I’ll definitely miss the early-morning smell of saltwater and the hum of airboats cruising by… but I’m so happy this client gets to spend her summer days in this beautiful kitchen with that incredible view.
